Often referred to as Slackasana, this unique discipline combines the physicality of yoga with the meditative focus of balancing on a 1-inch wide 'yoga mat' - the slackline. Experience a moving meditation that engages your complete body awareness, taking your yoga practice to a new level of mindfulness and equilibrium.
In this 90-minute 'Slackshop,' we will explore the foundational elements of the Slackasana series. The class is designed to cater to all skill levels, offering a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone from beginners to seasoned practitioners. You will learn the basics, including kneeling, sitting, standing, an arm balance and an inversion. Yes, you read correctly!
Slackline Yoga is not just for yogis; it's for everyone - climbers, couch potatoes, athletes, and anyone seeking a new form of physical and mental discipline. It's an invitation to take your yoga practice off the traditional mat and into a space where balance meets meditation.

Exploring Balance and Connection in Dual Dimensions
In this Two-In-One workshop, we invite you to experience the interplay of slacklining and AcroYoga, exploring the same poses in two distinct forms. Depending on the pose, we may start on the slackline, mastering balance and focus, and then transition to experiencing that same pose with a partner in AcroYoga. Alternatively, we might begin with AcroYoga, harnessing the power of connection and alignment, before taking those skills to the slackline.
This approach allows us to start with the most accessible variation of each pose, ensuring a comfortable and confident entry point for all practitioners. Whether it's finding your center on the slackline or learning to trust and align with a partner, we'll explore each pose in the way that's most intuitive and enlightening for the group.
Our journey is not just about mastering poses but about understanding how balance, trust, and alignment translate differently in solo and partnered practices. This workshop is perfect for those curious about both slacklining and AcroYoga, providing a harmonious blend of both disciplines.
No prior experience is needed in either slacklining or AcroYoga. This class is designed to be an open, exploratory space where everyone, regardless of their background, can discover new aspects of balance and connection.
