Free Handstands For All
Sunday June 15, 2025 8:00am - 9:00am EDT
Unlock the secret to a free, confident handstand in the heart of your yoga space with the guidance of the YogaSlackers. Handstands, often viewed as the pinnacle pose in yoga, are a fundamental element in acrobatic practice. Yet, the transition to a free-standing handstand, away from the safety of the wall or a spotter, can be both challenging and daunting. This class is specially designed to help you overcome these hurdles, guiding you towards achieving a stable and straight handstand in the middle of the room.
Under the expert guidance of the YogaSlackers, and inspired by Raquel's transformative "12 Days of Handstands," this workshop focuses on specific exercises that foster alignment, balance, and confidence. These techniques are carefully crafted to gradually liberate your handstand practice, moving you away from reliance on walls or spotters, towards the freedom of a self-supported stand.
Prerequisites for this class include the ability to hold a free headstand and maintain a 30-second handstand against the wall. These prerequisites ensure that you have the foundational strength and balance necessary for advancing towards a free handstand.

Your Humanity IS Your Divinity: The Yoga of Radical Affirmation!
Sunday June 15, 2025 8:00am - 9:30am EDT
We are all gods and goddesses in drag! The universe is hiding in plain sight in us as us! But due to our negative talk, we don’t recognize our divinity. We’ve convinced ourselves that we’re not good enough, we don’t have what it takes, or that we’re flawed in some way. Tantra teaches that we are perfectly imperfect just as we are. As infinite souls on the journey of the heart, we are already whole and complete, lacking nothing, ready to create a destiny of greatness.
Join master yogi, founder, and internationally acclaimed teacher, Todd Norian, as he guides you step-by-step into the empowering philosophy and practices that affirm the truth of your infinite nature.
During this workshop, you will
- Explore the empowering and spiritually uplifting philosophy of Nondual Tantra
- Build inner strength, balance, and flexibility with alignment-based Ashaya Yoga
- Quiet the mind and cultivate inner peace through meditation, mantra chanting, and deep relaxation
- Receive hands-on adjustments to improve your alignment and go deeper
-Enjoy Todd’s music throughout the workshop

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a renewed sense of purpose, inspiration, and freedom to live your best life and bring more joy into the world.

Loosening the Knots: Freeing Space for Binding
Sunday June 15, 2025 10:00am - 11:30am EDT
Bindings are challenging. These poses give us an awareness of our physical body and its limitations and also shed light on the internal struggle of the higher yoga quest.
Physically, binding poses can bring ease and opening if the body is supple. And can feel locked away for those with tighter, stiffer bodies.
Similarly with the inner quest, for some, there is a suppleness and ease to move into the more subtle states. While for others  the deeper layers of this embodiment can feel tied up tight.
Open up without forcing the way in. Learn to release without thrashing against the knots of this form. Balance effort and allowing. Find freedom while still being bound to the limitations of this body and loosen the knots that bind you.

✴️ The Grounding Magic of Savasana Assists: Guiding Students to Rest and Recovery
Sunday June 15, 2025 12:00pm - 1:30pm EDT
This workshop is designed for yoga teachers and fitness professionals who work with individuals in group-class or one-on-one settings.
After a vigorous yoga or movement practice that productively stresses the body, it’s essential to allow time for rest and recovery. In yoga, this rest period is called savasana. Savasana involves lying down on your back, training the nervous system to settle and activate the parasympathetic (“rest and digest”) response after physical exertion. This practice helps the body respond well to stress, enabling a healthy transition back to balance. Stress is a natural part of life, but the key to a resilient nervous system lies in quickly returning to a state of calm after short periods of stress.
As movement facilitators, we can use compassionate and strategic hands-on assists to teach our students how to ground themselves and soothe their nervous systems more effectively. In this hands-on session, you’ll learn and practice the foundational skills needed to guide students into deeper states of relaxation. Our focus will be on techniques that enhance the flow of breath, promote physical relaxation, and ground the entire system.
We will also cover essential topics such as obtaining student consent, cultivating a mindful approach, and using touch with kindness and compassion to support the health and wellness of your students. Each of us has the capacity to heal; this workshop will help you fine-tune your senses and harness the power of a healing touch.

The Next Step in Slackline Yoga: Mastering Flow and Balance
Sunday June 15, 2025 1:30pm - 2:30pm EDT
Level: Intermediate
Elevate your practice to new heights with "The Next Step in Slackline Yoga," a class designed for those ready to explore the dynamic and flowing aspects of this unique discipline. The YogaSlackers have skillfully adapted over 150 traditional asanas to the slackline, and this class invites you to delve into the fluidity of moving between these poses, enriching your slackline yoga journey.

In this intermediate-level class, we focus on developing seamless transitions on the slackline, akin to the flow of a vinyasa yoga class. Here, each movement is intentionally synchronized with the breath, creating a rhythmic dance of balance and grace. This approach not only enhances physical stability but also cultivates a deep sense of presence and mindfulness.

Prerequisites for this class include either completion of any of our beginner level Slackline Yoga classes or a minimum of three months of slackline experience. This ensures that all participants have a foundational understanding of slackline yoga, allowing the class to collectively progress into more advanced flows and transitions.

This class is more than just physical practice; it's a meditative experience where breath and movement merge on the slackline. It's an opportunity to deepen your connection to yourself and the line, exploring how each transition can be an expression of balance, focus, and fluidity.

Join us in "The Next Step in Slackline Yoga" and discover the beauty of flowing transitions,or new poses, where each step and shift on the line becomes a part of a larger, harmonious sequence, embodying the essence of vinyasa in the realm of slackline yoga.

Chair Yoga is great for people who may have stiff muscles, may have an injury, may not enjoy getting down to and up from the floor frequently (or at all), or who really enjoy learning a new way of practicing (and teaching) yoga. Some poses are actually deeper using a chair! It is a wonderful way to personalize your practice for your shifting daily needs. And, blissfully, you’ll experience a healing Savasana with your legs up on the chair, with Ingrid singing to you. : )

Sunday June 15, 2025 2:00pm - 3:30pm EDT
A wise one once said: “The first step to solve a problem is to accept there is a problem.”

What are the obstacles to practice? How do we work with the challenges on our path? How do we reconcile our intention to be alert and focused, our longing to be open and compassionate with human tendencies such as doubt, laziness, distraction, edginess, etc. This is a common and uncomfortable place to find ourselves in. During our time together, we will discuss this verse and how to relate to the obstacles that arise when engaging in practice.
