This Edible and Medicinal PlantWalk is your chance to take a deep dive into into the wild plant world at the base of Jiminy Peak!
Join Maggie the Herbalist & founder behind Maggie’s Healing Path as she leads you on a walk along the wild edges of the lodge’s property.

Maggie is an Herbalist with 20+ years experience working with the healing power of plants. She is an Herbal Educator teaching classes and workshops in her home state of Rhode Island, and Southern MA, her classes range from in depth Herbal Medicine Making series to fun & informative walks in Nature she calls her ‘Edible & Medicinal PlantWalks’ This is
what she will be sharing with our Berkshire Yoga Community this week!

During the walk we will explore the wild edges of Mt Jiminy base, Maggie will give you clues on how to identify plants, and
will discuss their habitats and the companion plants they surround themselves with.

You’ll learn the uses and applications of the medicinal plants and leave with the knowledge of plants that make great teas, tinctures or even oil infusions. Plus, for the brave, you can join Maggie in snacking on some wild edible plants she’ll ID on your walk ...

and you’ll hear about Maggie’s favorite recipes using all the plants you’ll encounter.

and...
she is an Herbal product maker, and will have her full Herbal Apothecary in the vendor village- visit her booth & find product with ingredients you will recognize if you attend her PlantWalk!

She is also a Yogini, with daily practices of Vinyasa, pranayam, meditation and japa mala or mantra practice. She also holds a 200hr RYT training and several trips to India on Spiritual and Esoteric retreats...
