Beyond Illusion: A Somatic Approach to Transforming the “Near Enemies”
Thursday June 12, 2025 9:00am - 12:00pm EDT
In this 3-hour intensive, we will explore the concept of "near enemies"—qualities or behaviors that appear virtuous on the surface but can subtly undermine our growth, relationships, and authenticity. Rooted in teachings from yoga philosophy, psychology, and recovery frameworks, this session will help participants uncover how these disguised habits can keep us disconnected from ourselves and others.

Through guided reflection, experiential exercises, and somatic practices, you’ll learn to distinguish near enemies from their true counterparts, such as how pity masquerades as compassion or indifference as equanimity. Together, we’ll cultivate awareness, resilience, and tools to realign with genuine values, fostering deeper connection and transformation.
Whether you’re on a path of personal growth, recovery, or spiritual development, this workshop offers insight and practices to support living with integrity and truth.

Vertical Axis Integration: Anatomy and Breath Practices of the Shushumna-Nadi
Thursday June 12, 2025 9:00am - 12:00pm EDT
An foundational principle of breath-centered yoga theory and practice is what Leslie refers to as “vertical axis integration,” also known as the opening of the energetic body’s central channel. In this three-hour practical intensive, we will explore this idea through a sequence of practices that integrate a fresh perspective on asana, kriya, bandha, and pranayama. The session will conclude with an initiation into a meditative practice derived from Krishnamacharya’s unique perspective on Prana/Apana, Kundalini and Agni.

Individual modifications and adaptions for all levels of experience will be taught, and ample time will be devoted to inquiry, questions and feedback.

Sacred Names: Kirtan with Chant Master Krishna Das
Thursday June 12, 2025 7:00pm - 9:00pm EDT
Join us for an evening of chanting with Krishna Das.

Layering traditional kirtan with instantly accessible melodies and modern instrumentation, Krishna Das has been called the “Chant Master of American Yoga” (NYTimes). With a remarkably soulful voice that touches the deepest chord in even the most casual listener, Krishna Das, known to friends, family, and fans as simply, “KD,” has taken the call-and-response chanting out of yoga centers and temples and into concert halls, becoming a worldwide icon and the best-selling western chant artist of all time. In a recording career spanning more than two decades, he has released 16 acclaimed full-length albums, his music serving as an easily approachable gateway to the devotional traditions of the East, and his voice serving as a conduit to the yearning that is the wellspring of all spiritual paths. His album ‘Live Ananda’ (released January 2012) was nominated for a Grammy in the Best New Age album category.

Kirtan is a simple and meditative traditional sadhana (spiritual practice.) The practice itself involves repetitive call and response singing between a leader and a group, where what is being sung back and forth is mantra, sacred names, or names of God. It is said to awaken bhakti, a kind of reverential and loving devotion within the heart.

Kirtans with Krishna Das require no previous experience. All are welcome.

Trauma-Informed Strategies for Public Group Classes
Friday June 13, 2025 8:00am - 9:30am EDT
Are you a yoga teacher interested in working with populations who have experienced trauma?

Have you ever felt worried you might "trigger" a student by saying or cueing the wrong thing?

Specialized "trauma-informed" yoga classes can offer those who've experienced trauma with the tools to support healing and post-traumatic growth.

But what can teachers who don't have this specialized training do in their general group classes to create a safe and supportive environment for anyone who walks through the door?

In this workshop, Lauren Turner calls upon her experience working with Veterans and First Responders to share key strategies for how to incorporate trauma-informed principles into general group classes.

What we'll cover:
  • A shared definition of what "trauma-informed yoga" is
  • An overview of the anatomy of stress and the relationship between yoga & PTSD
  • Outline the differences between a "trauma-informed" yoga class and a general group class
  • Identify key principles when working with those who experience trauma and discuss how best to incorporate into a public class setting
  • Discuss strategies to promote safety in public group classes
  • Work as a group to share specific examples of how these strategies can show up in our teaching
The goal of this workshop is to increase the confidence of yoga instructors working in public group settings and give them tools to support their students.

The session is not designed to be a replacement for trauma-informed yoga techniques. It may however serve as a stepping stone for those who are interested in continued education in the topic.

The session will combine lecture (60%) with group discussion (40%)

After managing and owning a studio, Lauren shifted her focus to working with those who have experienced trauma. Joint Healing w/Taoist Yoga & "Knees Over Toes"
Friday June 13, 2025 8:00am - 9:30am EDT
Do you or your clients deal with knee, ankle, foot or hip pain?  Do you lack mobility or strength in these joints because of an old injury or lifestyle? If so this workshop can change your life and provide you tools to heal.

Andrew Tanner grew up playing hockey goalie for 12 years and developed serious knee problems requiring surgery by age 19, luckily instead of surgery he took a flyer on taoist yoga and found within 3 weeks of a regular taoist bowing practice and stance work his knee pain and instability was gone!

20 years of yoga and health later in a freak accident he fell down a flight of stairs in 2021 and badly damaged his left foot/ankle and spine and developed extremely painful plantar fasciitis and constant foot and neck pain. During this second healing journey Andrew found the teachings of former Olympic Coach Charles Poliquin, made popular by Ben Patrick the "knees over toes" guy.

Combining simple Taoist Yoga stance work and joint release exercises with Poliquin's progressive overload and various "knees over toes" positions, Andrew was able to quickly heal his own injuries but even more, he has become stronger and more mobile then he was as a yogi in his twenties!

In this Workshop You Will Experience:
  • A short talk explaining the core theory of progressive overload and healing with "knees over toes"
  • A 50-Min All Levels practice that incorporates
    • Gentle Qi Gong movements to awaken and warm up the joints
    • Full joint rotational exercises for enhanced mobility
    • Functional exercises that target the feet, ankles, knees, and hips for healing, mobility
  • A routine you can share with your students

✴️ Social Dreaming Matrix
Friday June 13, 2025 8:30am - 9:15am EDT
Social Dreaming is an opportunity to share and work with dreams within a social space. It rests on the premise that dreams can speak with dreams: breeding, growing, and developing new thoughts and new thinking, beyond a subjective focus of individual dream work. Through the creation of a community of dreamers we will explore the patterns that emerge between one narrative and another.

The aim of these sessions is to create a social dreaming matrix by working as a community to transform our thoughts about our dreams by freely associating to the dreams shared in the matrix. This process helps to uncover unconscious links and make connections that will lead us to discover new ways to experience a sense of joining.

The matrix is a bringing together of individuals into a unique space to consider and discover the hidden, elusive/infinite meaning in our dreams. The matrix is a place to reflect, while awake, on the unlimited, unconscious processes we experience in waking life that show up in our dreams while asleep. The community of dreamers will be encouraged not to interpret the dreams shared. Instead, they will be invited to offer associations or draw parallels to the dreams from film, literature or any other spiritual, cultural, or social contexts to amplify the narrative between us.

Pilates is an amazing, comprehensive form of exercise that was created by Joseph Pilates. His original name for the work was Contrology; Contrology is the complete coordination of the body and the mind. It is only when Joseph passed that the work took on the catchier name of Pilates. Mat Pilates is a type of exercise that was based on Joseph Pilates original repertoire that includes doing the Pilates movements off the machines onto the mat. Some of these exercises are similar to many yoga poses. Examples of these exercises include: planks, side planks, long sit, spine stretch, and various other exercises.  All of the exercises target specific areas of the body to strengthen and stretch the muscles. Pilates helps elongate the muscles, help with flexibility, strengthen and lean out core muscles, and reduce overall tightness. This class is can be modified for all ages, fitness levels, and body types.

✴️ Energy Work, Plant and Mushroom Medicine
Friday June 13, 2025 10:30am - 11:30am EDT
We will start the class as an introduction to ceremony and energy work. We will call the directions and do a short grounding meditation.

At that point we will start to talk about the fundamentals of energy work and Reiki on oneself. We will create some self-practice Reiki exercises and focus on the Root, Heart, and Third Eye as three Chakras.

We’ll open up a discussion about perceptions and thoughts about using herbs and mushrooms to enhance work in these energy centers. We will introduce the three plants/mushrooms at this time, and spend a few minutes discussing the properties of each plant.

We will then offer a sacred ceremony and samples of three different plant extracts for the three different Chakras. We will spend time sensing and feeling the shifts in the energy body around each of these chakras when we sample the plants.

  • Tuck your tail
  • Square your hips

Psoas It Is
Friday June 13, 2025 2:00pm - 5:00pm EDT
The psoas muscle—arguably the most important muscle in the body—plays a pivotal role in physical and emotional wellbeing, yet it is one of the most overlooked muscles. This deep-seated muscle connects the upper and lower body, influencing posture, breath, and overall stability. But beyond the physical “fight-or-flight” muscle, the psoas is also a reservoir for unprocessed stress and tension, impacting our mental and emotional state.
Join Kari, a renowned yoga therapist and anatomy teacher trainer, for an in-depth exploration of the psoas in this. interactive workshop designed to deepen your understanding and connection with this powerful core muscle. You will:
  • Discover the anatomy, function, and energetic importance of the psoas.
  • Learn gentle release techniques to support tension relief and nervous system balance.
  • Find out why most yoga poses don’t address root cause of psoas dysfunction.
  • Practice a curated sequence of yoga postures and somatic movements to engage and strengthen the psoas.
  • Explore breathwork that supports psoas release and connection to the parasympathetic nervous system.
  • Gain insights into how the health of your psoas affects emotional resilience, posture, and freedom of movement.
This workshop is designed to be inclusive and is suitable for all levels. It's ideal for those who experience lower back discomfort, tight hips, or a feeling of "stuckness" in the body. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner, a yoga teacher wanting to gain knowledge and serve your students better, or just starting your journey, this workshop offers a deeper understanding of the mind-body connection through the psoas and how to gain freedom in the hips and low back.
Come prepared to move, breathe, and release. Unlock a greater sense of ease and freedom within your body and discover how connecting with the psoas can bring you home to yourself.

Friday June 13, 2025 4:00pm - 5:30pm EDT
This workshop is a smartly sequenced slow flow of postures, and prop assisted self massage. This sequencing makes sense to the body in a way that allows for remarkable change in a short period of time.

The first portion of the class is about cross patterns in the body. These are the stretches that really open us physically and create postural shift in both the chest and spine.

During the second half of the class the focus is on using that opening to deepen heart opening poses and discovering places of balance, space and restoration.

Rather than highlighting any one group of muscles this workshop touches lightly on all areas of the body to leave the practitioner feeling wildly open, profoundly grounded, and deliciously complete.

The BIG Rest: A Metta Inspired Restorative Practice
Friday June 13, 2025 7:00pm - 8:00pm EDT
“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” —Rumi

An opportunity to land, arrive and relax...
Relaxing our tension can help us expand our capacity to feel our compassion and our connectedness to ourselves and others. We are practicing relaxing and opening when we feel the impulse to do the opposite. We are practicing on our mats, so we can be more open and compassionate in the daily moments of our lives.

Metta (Lovingkindness) is an ancient technique that helps us expand our capacity to connect with our heart’s core qualities. Traditionally, it combines visualization with affirmations or prayers coupled with the practice of self-awareness.

In this practice, we’ll weave metta affirmations and blessings throughout our slow flow warm-ups and as we settle deeply into our restoratives. With a special focus on our lungs and heart center, we’ll expand our capacity to stay present and listen with our hearts, so you can continue releasing tension, find deep relaxation, and respond (not react) with awareness and compassion.

Saturday June 14, 2025 8:00am - 9:00am EDT
Let’s dive in together for an expanding physical practice that not only challenges our bodies but opens our minds with targeted breathing practices for optimum health and athletic performance. As men, we often don’t take personal inventory of our health, our relationships, and our personal best practices -- more frequently operating in a GSD (get sh*t done) mode. Today, we will use our practice as a linchpin to realign and set our center. We’ll be targeting shoulders, hips, hams, and strength in this joyous morning practice. The practice is open to all levels. If your body is tight, you are encouraged to bring yoga blocks.

Hands On: Adjusting Through the Lens of Elemental Action
Saturday June 14, 2025 8:00am - 9:30am EDT
In this 90 minute teachers practice, we will look at many bodies in several different shapes and address each person's individual needs dependent upon what the body presents. This will assume you have some experience with putting your hands on students and are looking to train your eye to see what exactly each body needs. We will analyze where the body needs more (or less) earth, more (or less) fire, more fluidity, less rigidity, more breath or more space. The result is using hands on adjusting beyond a 101 perspective; you will refine your ability to make the time you spend in a students’ space feel unique , satisfying and revelatory.

Visual Rhetoric in Yoga and Anatomy
Saturday June 14, 2025 10:00am - 11:00am EDT
Images are powerful. Visual rhetoric is how images communicate meaning in much the same way that language is utilized to convey messages. What we see in yoga (through magazines, books, and media) and anatomical images reflect the culture and convey messages whether we are fully aware of them or not. Saturday June 14, 2025 10:00am - 11:00am EDT
Embark on a transformative journey with Slackline Yoga, a practice that redefines your sense of balance and mental focus. Often referred to as Slackasana, this unique discipline combines the physicality of yoga with the meditative focus of balancing on a 1-inch wide 'yoga mat' - the slackline. Experience a moving meditation that engages your complete body awareness, taking your yoga practice to a new level of mindfulness and equilibrium.
In this 90-minute 'Slackshop,' we will explore the foundational elements of the Slackasana series. The class is designed to cater to all skill levels, offering a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone from beginners to seasoned practitioners. You will learn the basics, including kneeling, sitting, standing, an arm balance and an inversion. Yes, you read correctly!
Slackline Yoga is not just for yogis; it's for everyone - climbers, couch potatoes, athletes, and anyone seeking a new form of physical and mental discipline. It's an invitation to take your yoga practice off the traditional mat and into a space where balance meets meditation.
No previous experience with slacklining or yoga is necessary. Come join us in this engaging and enlightening Slackshop, where every step on the line is a step towards greater mindfulness and poise.

Yoga for the 4th Trimester
Saturday June 14, 2025 10:00am - 11:00am EDT
In this 60 minute workshop, you'll be guided through breathwork and postnatal sequencing designed to recharge the postpartum body and mind.

The fourth trimester is just as important for a mother’s health as the first three trimesters, yet that is often when mothers have the least interaction with their health care team.

Only 40% of moms attend their postpartum follow-up visit. Why? It’s an overwhelming time and often gets pushed to the back burner.

A traditional checklist for a PP visit includes physical recovery (Have the tears healed? Are the C/S stitches healing? Warning signs for something serious, like an infection, Diastasis recti?), mental recovery, sexual health/family planning and diet/exercise.

The six-week checkup is a green light to slowly get back into fitness, not run a marathon. The abdominal fascia has only regained 51-59% of its original strength by six weeks, and between 75-94% at 6-7 months.

If breastfeeding, the hormone, Relaxin, is still in your body, making you more prone to tissue injury. Combine that with urinary incontinence, exhaustion and care for the baby.

Need to bring your baby to class? No worries! We can work through mom and me sequences as well.

Saturday June 14, 2025 10:00am - 11:30am EDT
Arm balances are some of the most fun, exciting, and challenging poses of the yoga practice. Most also require flexible hips—a place many of us have tightness. Don’t let that deter you from starting arm balance practice now. Finding hip flexibility is more than simply stretching and waiting to achieve the elasticity we desire. With Matt, we explore techniques to find our fullest range of motion through optimal skeletal alignment and muscular engagement for deep, isometric hip strengtheners. We will also develop a true sense of our core and how its location, stability and strength relate to our arms and hips. Get ready to sweat, fly, and go deeper in your body in a way that is safe, healthy and absolutely powerful.

We will open up the four directions and expect to hear healing deep relaxation sounds from all over the world such as singing bowls, didgeridoos, over-tone singing, percussion, Native American flutes, guitar and atmospheric soundscapes to guide the journey. This is the inner revolution your body has been looking for.

Slackline & Acro Yoga Foundations
Saturday June 14, 2025 2:00pm - 3:30pm EDT
Exploring Balance and Connection in Dual Dimensions
In this Two-In-One workshop, we invite you to experience the interplay of slacklining and AcroYoga, exploring the same poses in two distinct forms. Depending on the pose, we may start on the slackline, mastering balance and focus, and then transition to experiencing that same pose with a partner in AcroYoga. Alternatively, we might begin with AcroYoga, harnessing the power of connection and alignment, before taking those skills to the slackline.
This approach allows us to start with the most accessible variation of each pose, ensuring a comfortable and confident entry point for all practitioners. Whether it's finding your center on the slackline or learning to trust and align with a partner, we'll explore each pose in the way that's most intuitive and enlightening for the group.
Our journey is not just about mastering poses but about understanding how balance, trust, and alignment translate differently in solo and partnered practices. This workshop is perfect for those curious about both slacklining and AcroYoga, providing a harmonious blend of both disciplines.
No prior experience is needed in either slacklining or AcroYoga. This class is designed to be an open, exploratory space where everyone, regardless of their background, can discover new aspects of balance and connection. Join us in this engaging exploration, where each pose is an opportunity to learn, grow, and see your practice in a new light.

Yoga for Fertility
Saturday June 14, 2025 2:00pm - 3:30pm EDT
Fertility Yoga is the groundbreaking work that explores the different yoga  techniques that balance our hormones and release our stress. By releasing our stress our bodies are better able to function with our reproductive needs. Yoga helps with fertility in a number of ways: through stress reduction, encouraging hormonal balance, helping people with their mental health, and helping with pain relief. Yoga is also known to help boost endorphins. The same way that women get balancing of the hormones, a man can also see improvement of sperm production practicing yoga. There have been studies that show that doing fertility yoga during Ivf or art helps increase the chances of getting pregnant as well. Yoga is also helpful for relaxing the muscles of the hips and pelvis to promote a healthy pregnancy. When teaching each fertility yoga class the class ends with a discussion and meditation involving balancing the chakras associated with fertility. This way every pathway is focused on in this fertility yoga class.

Before the field of hypnotism emphasized verbal suggestions, the original practice known as ‘magnetism’ was mostly nonverbal and focused on the movement of a universal astral fluid in and around the body. Participants in this session will learn and practice basic principles and methods from the tradition of nonverbal hypnotism and magnetism, including mesmerism, fascination, and presence.

Inside Flow
Saturday June 14, 2025 4:00pm - 5:30pm EDT
Step into your authentic power through this invigorating practice. Inside Flow is not just a fluid vinyasa yoga practice but a journey to the beating heart that lives inside of you. Music is the driving force around which an Inside Flow Workshop and its sequencing are built. Moving from one posture to another, we focus on the movement between the postures, not just the posture itself, which allows the body to feel the rhythm of the music. Breath, movement, and music unite as ONE. Each workshop has a choreographed sequence that flows to a specific piece of music and is broken down into segments throughout the class in order to fully marry the movement with the musicality. To truly feel in sync, a common intention is set, the volume of the music goes up and we move as one!

Remember to Surrender: The Yoga of Deep Acceptance
Saturday June 14, 2025 4:00pm - 5:30pm EDT
The Tantric definition of surrender is our ability to accept what is as it is. This is never easy as most of us live in the “full catastrophe” of life. Yet yoga, as the practice of self-love, helps us love our body, mind, and heart just as we are. It’s the practice of bringing more acceptance and compassion for all of our struggles and to see the deeper intention which is always sourced in goodness. During this workshop, you’ll explore how to let go of the negative conditioning that gets in your way and bring a deeper acceptance to every part of you – shadow, light, and every shade of grey in between. Practice includes standing poses, hip openers, backbends, partner work, mantra chanting, and a deep relaxation.

Free Handstands For All
Sunday June 15, 2025 8:00am - 9:00am EDT
Unlock the secret to a free, confident handstand in the heart of your yoga space with the guidance of the YogaSlackers. Handstands, often viewed as the pinnacle pose in yoga, are a fundamental element in acrobatic practice. Yet, the transition to a free-standing handstand, away from the safety of the wall or a spotter, can be both challenging and daunting. This class is specially designed to help you overcome these hurdles, guiding you towards achieving a stable and straight handstand in the middle of the room.
Under the expert guidance of the YogaSlackers, and inspired by Raquel's transformative "12 Days of Handstands," this workshop focuses on specific exercises that foster alignment, balance, and confidence. These techniques are carefully crafted to gradually liberate your handstand practice, moving you away from reliance on walls or spotters, towards the freedom of a self-supported stand.
Prerequisites for this class include the ability to hold a free headstand and maintain a 30-second handstand against the wall. These prerequisites ensure that you have the foundational strength and balance necessary for advancing towards a free handstand.

Your Humanity IS Your Divinity: The Yoga of Radical Affirmation!
Sunday June 15, 2025 8:00am - 9:30am EDT
We are all gods and goddesses in drag! The universe is hiding in plain sight in us as us! But due to our negative talk, we don’t recognize our divinity. As infinite souls on the journey of the heart, we are already whole and complete, lacking nothing, ready to create a destiny of greatness.

During this workshop, you will

- Quiet the mind and cultivate inner peace through meditation, mantra chanting, and deep relaxation
- Receive hands-on adjustments to improve your alignment and go deeper
-Enjoy Todd’s music throughout the workshop

Sunday June 15, 2025 8:30am - 9:30am EDT

In this empowering 1 hour seminar, Amandi Brown introduces the transformative framework of C.R.A.W.L.—a powerful, holistic approach to healing the mind, body, and spirit through yoga and mindfulness. Designed to help you structure your week for holistic wellness, this seminar offers a roadmap for personal growth that can be applied daily, from Monday to Friday.

What to Expect:
In this condensed yet powerful seminar, you’ll learn how to structure your week to support your personal growth—balancing physical wellness, mental clarity, and emotional healing. Amandi will guide you through each component of the C.R.A.W.L. framework, offering you practical tools that you can integrate into your daily life. This is your chance to begin living your best life—one mindful step at a time.

Why "C.R.A.W.L."?

Loosening the Knots: Freeing Space for Binding
Sunday June 15, 2025 10:00am - 11:30am EDT
Bindings are challenging. These poses give us an awareness of our physical body and its limitations and also shed light on the internal struggle of the higher yoga quest.
Physically, binding poses can bring ease and opening if the body is supple. And can feel locked away for those with tighter, stiffer bodies.
Similarly with the inner quest, for some, there is a suppleness and ease to move into the more subtle states. While for others  the deeper layers of this embodiment can feel tied up tight.
Open up without forcing the way in. Learn to release without thrashing against the knots of this form. Balance effort and allowing. Find freedom while still being bound to the limitations of this body and loosen the knots that bind you.

✴️ The Grounding Magic of Savasana Assists: Guiding Students to Rest and Recovery
Sunday June 15, 2025 12:00pm - 1:30pm EDT
This workshop is designed for yoga teachers and fitness professionals who work with individuals in group-class or one-on-one settings.
After a vigorous yoga or movement practice that productively stresses the body, it’s essential to allow time for rest and recovery. In yoga, this rest period is called savasana. Savasana involves lying down on your back, training the nervous system to settle and activate the parasympathetic (“rest and digest”) response after physical exertion. This practice helps the body respond well to stress, enabling a healthy transition back to balance. Stress is a natural part of life, but the key to a resilient nervous system lies in quickly returning to a state of calm after short periods of stress.
As movement facilitators, we can use compassionate and strategic hands-on assists to teach our students how to ground themselves and soothe their nervous systems more effectively. In this hands-on session, you’ll learn and practice the foundational skills needed to guide students into deeper states of relaxation. Our focus will be on techniques that enhance the flow of breath, promote physical relaxation, and ground the entire system.
We will also cover essential topics such as obtaining student consent, cultivating a mindful approach, and using touch with kindness and compassion to support the health and wellness of your students. Each of us has the capacity to heal; this workshop will help you fine-tune your senses and harness the power of a healing touch.

The Next Step in Slackline Yoga: Mastering Flow and Balance
Sunday June 15, 2025 1:30pm - 2:30pm EDT
Level: Intermediate
Elevate your practice to new heights with "The Next Step in Slackline Yoga," a class designed for those ready to explore the dynamic and flowing aspects of this unique discipline. The YogaSlackers have skillfully adapted over 150 traditional asanas to the slackline, and this class invites you to delve into the fluidity of moving between these poses, enriching your slackline yoga journey.

In this intermediate-level class, we focus on developing seamless transitions on the slackline, akin to the flow of a vinyasa yoga class. Here, each movement is intentionally synchronized with the breath, creating a rhythmic dance of balance and grace. This approach not only enhances physical stability but also cultivates a deep sense of presence and mindfulness.

Prerequisites for this class include either completion of any of our beginner level Slackline Yoga classes or a minimum of three months of slackline experience. This ensures that all participants have a foundational understanding of slackline yoga, allowing the class to collectively progress into more advanced flows and transitions.

This class is more than just physical practice; it's a meditative experience where breath and movement merge on the slackline. It's an opportunity to deepen your connection to yourself and the line, exploring how each transition can be an expression of balance, focus, and fluidity.

Join us in "The Next Step in Slackline Yoga" and discover the beauty of flowing transitions,or new poses, where each step and shift on the line becomes a part of a larger, harmonious sequence, embodying the essence of vinyasa in the realm of slackline yoga.

We’ll dive deep into dynamic vinyasas designed not only to challenge your practice but to invigorate your spirit. Each transition is an opportunity, a step toward mastering your practice with greater fluidity and stabilization.

But here's the twist: it’s not just about perfecting each pose. It’s about listening—really listening—to your body, embracing each breath, each movement, and making them uniquely yours. We'll explore tips and techniques that bring a new level of ease and confidence to your flow, transforming your practice into a dance of strength and grace.

Picture a class where every transition is a delicate balance between effort and ease, and every pose becomes a celebration of your dedication. Whether you’re looking to refine your technique or just want to experience yoga from a fresh perspective, this session will open doors to transformation and growth.

Join me at the Berkshire Yoga Festival for an exciting adventure in movement and mindfulness. Together, we'll push past boundaries, discover new depths in our practice, and find true harmony between movement and stillness. I can't wait to guide you through this enriching experience.

80% asana, 20% lecture. Let's flow together.

The Obstacles That Distract the Mind and Disrupt Practice: Master Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra - Chapter 1, Verse 30 LIMITED
Sunday June 15, 2025 2:00pm - 3:30pm EDT
A wise one once said: “The first step to solve a problem is to accept there is a problem.”

What are the obstacles to practice? How do we work with the challenges on our path? How do we reconcile our intention to be alert and focused, our longing to be open and compassionate with human tendencies such as doubt, laziness, distraction, edginess, etc. This is a common and uncomfortable place to find ourselves in. During our time together, we will discuss this verse and how to relate to the obstacles that arise when engaging in practice.
