An foundational principle of breath-centered yoga theory and practice is what Leslie refers to as “vertical axis integration,” also known as the opening of the energetic body’s central channel. In this three-hour practical intensive, we will explore this idea through a sequence of practices that integrate a fresh perspective on asana, kriya, bandha, and pranayama. The session will conclude with an initiation into a meditative practice derived from Krishnamacharya’s unique perspective on Prana/Apana, Kundalini and Agni.
Individual modifications and adaptions for all levels of experience will be taught, and ample time will be devoted to inquiry, questions and feedback.
